He is responsible for driving the company’s sales, marketing and partnering initiatives.
Mike identified and negotiated with the developing entity the exclusive license for NextGen’s cobalt-free, high-voltage cathode technology, and secured our partnership with NEI Corporation.
He received his Bachelor's degree from Yale University, and holds an MBA from Columbia University.

Grant Farrell, the Senior Member of NextGen’s Board of Advisors, is a seasoned battery industry executive.
He has served as Chief Operating Officer, Director - Engineering and Special Projects, and Director - Medical Business Development of Enersys/Quallion, as well as Vice President and General Manager - Medical Power Division, and Vice President - Engineering and Product Development of EaglePicher Technologies.
In addition to supporting the company in strategic planning, product positioning and talent search, Grant has established key strategic relationships for NextGen and manages the mutual application efforts emerging from them.
Grant holds a degree in Applied Science / Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Tej Poudel holds three Bachelor and Master degrees in Physics, including one from the University of Memphis, and completed his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at Florida State University, where he worked as a Research Assistant internally, and at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory.
He has published papers on gadolinium,

He has published papers on gadolinium, nanoparticles, and ionic conductivity / stability in solid-state batteries. Tej's project work covers ion conductors, YTO substrates, nickel ferrite, super-capacitors, and coercivity.
